Grinding Wheels for: CR-39, Polycarbonate and High Index lenses
These wheels are manufactured with our P.B.S.® brand bond which permanently brazes the diamond particles to the substrate, preventing them from pulling out.
The advantage is that the diamond exposure and concentration can be controlled, resulting in greater cutting edge exposure and swarf clearance for cooler running and less loading.
Grinding Wheels for: Glass and CR-39 lenses
The diamonds on these wheels are combined with blends of different metals which have been optimized for specific cutting performance results.
Based on your requirements, we can provide a soft blend for an aggressive, fast cutting action or a harder blend that is less aggressive, lasts longer and produces a finer finish.
Grinding Wheels for: CR-39 lenses only
A single layer of diamond particles is mechanically fastened (electroplated) to the substrate with a layer of nickel bond material.
Redress Schedule & Pricing
Turnaround time for redress is 5 working days. For example, if we receive your wheels on Wednesday, we will ship them back to you by Tuesday of the next week.
